پاکستان کے صوبہ خیبر پختونخوا میں واقع تربیلا جھیل میں مسافروں سے بھری کشتی الٹنے سے متعدد افراد کی ہلاکت کا خدشہ ظاہر کیا جا رہا ہے۔

پولیس کے مطابق یہ واقعہ بدھ کی صبح 11 بجے کے قریب ناڑہ امازئی تھانے کے حدود میں برگ ڈبڈیری کے مقام پر پیش آیا۔
مقامی تھانے کے ایس ایچ او تنویر خان نے بی بی سی کو بتایا کہ ابتدائی اطلاعات کے مطابق ڈوبنے والی کشتی پر 50 سے 60 افراد سوار تھے جن میں عورتیں اور بچے بھی شامل ہیں۔
پولیس کے مطابق یہ کشتی طورغر سے ہری پور جا رہی تھی اور راستے میں ممکنہ طور پر بھنور میں ہھنس کر الٹ گئی۔ پولیس حکام کے مطابق ڈوبنے والے افراد مقامی دیہات سے تعلق رکھتے ہیں۔
ایس ایچ او کے مطابق کشتی الٹنے کے بعد مقامی افراد نے اپنی مدد آپ کے تحت دس کے قریب افراد کو بچایا ہے جبکہ تین افراد کی لاشیں بھی نکال لی گئی ہیں جن میں بچے بھی شامل ہیں۔
صحافی زبیر خان کے مطابق طورغر اور اس کے قریبی علاقوں کے لوگ موسمِ گرما میں تربیلا جھیل میں پانی آنے کے بعد ہری پور تک رسائی کے لیے کشتیوں کا استعمال کرتے ہیں کیونکہ پانی پر سفر کا دورانیہ سڑک کے مقابلے میں کم ہے۔
ان کا کہنا ہے کہ ان کشتیوں پر لوگ اپنے مویشیوں کو بھی خریدوفروخت کی غرض سے ساتھ لے جاتے ہیں اور ابتدائی اطلاعات کے مطابق ڈوبنے والی کشتی پر بھی مویشی موجود تھے۔
ایس ایچ او تنویر خان کا کہنا ہے کہ جس جگہ کشتی ڈوبی اس کے اردگرد پہاڑی علاقہ ہے اور وہاں تک کا زمینی راستہ بہت دشوار گزار ہے جبکہ کشتی میں بھی وہاں پہنچنے میں چار سے پانچ گھنٹے کا وقت درکار ہے۔
ہری پور کے ریسکیو 1122 کے اہلکار نے بی بی سی کو بتایا کہ تاحال کوئی امدادی ٹیم بھی جائے حادثہ پر نہیں پہنچ سکی ہے اور امدادی کارروائیوں کے لیے نوشہرہ اور پشاور سے امدادی ٹیمیں طلب کر لی گئی ہیں۔
ریسکیو 1122 کے حکام کے مطابق امدادی کارروائیوں کے لیے فوج سے مدد بھی طلب کی گئی ہے اور پاکستانی ذرائع ابلاغ کے مطابق فوج کی امدادی ٹیم بذریعہ ہیلی کاپٹر روانہ کر دی گئی ہے۔
